What are the benefits of the NavWorx® ADS600™ in my aircraft?
The ADS600™ and PADS600® receive broadcast Traffic and Flight Information, including Weather, and present this information graphically on your instrument panel display or compatible handheld device.
What is the cost of the NavWorx® ADS600™?
The ADS600™ sells for $1,495 not including installation which can easily be performed by your local service center. The ADS600 comes complete with the microprocessor unit, enclosed in a lightweight remote or dash mounted box, plus dual antennas.
What is the current coverage area for ADS-B?
The rollout of ADS-B throughout the United States has already begun with services currently being provided in Alaska, Oregon, and Washington state, along the Eastern states, as well as other select areas. Key sites undergoing present deployment include the Gulf of Mexico, Juneau, Philadelphia, Miami, and Louisville.
The FAA expects the contractor, ITT Corporation, will have the services throughout the entire National Airspace System by 2013. The FAA Surveillance and Broadcast Services website provides the latest information on ADS-B deployment. For more information go to www.faa.gov.
