ROWLETT, Tx./September 23, 2008 — NavWorx Inc., the leader in portable ADS-B receiver technology, announced today the PADS® product line consisting of the PADS600 and ADS600, two ADS-B receivers designed for both certified and experimental/lsa aircraft.

The PADS600 (Portable ADS, model 600) receiver is designed for renters or aircraft where the operator wants to easily setup and remove the equipment. The receiver connects to the aircrafts instrument panel power receptacle, and various portable or panel mounted displays. The ADS600 model is made to permanently mount in the aircraft and requires separate GPS and DME/transponder antennas to be installed.
Both models have a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $1495.00, options include an Arinc429 interface ($200.00) for connecting an external altitude encoder as well as any PFD/MFD display utilizing the Arinc735 traffic interface.
